Trucks with cranes

Trucks with cranes combine the mobility of a truck with the power of a hydraulic crane. These trucks are ideal for transporting loads while simultaneously allowing the lifting and moving of heavy objects without the need for additional vehicles. The advantages of trucks with cranes include:

  • Greater lifting capacity: Trucks with cranes can lift large loads to significant heights, making them ideal for projects where the transport and placement of heavy objects, such as steel structure assembly, are required.

However, trucks with cranes may be less adaptable in conditions where fine precision or work in confined spaces is required, as they need sufficient room for crane operations.

Telescopic forklifts

Telescopic forklifts, also known as telehandlers, are versatile machines that combine the features of forklifts and mini-cranes. They have a telescopic arm that can extend forward or upward, allowing them to operate in hard-to-reach areas. The advantages of telehandlers include:

  • High adaptability: Telehandlers can lift loads in various directions, making them ideal for working in confined spaces or on construction sites with difficult terrain.
  • Various attachments: Different attachments, such as buckets, forks, or hooks, can be used, increasing their versatility for various types of tasks, from transporting construction materials to lifting equipment.

However, telehandlers are not as efficient as trucks with cranes when it comes to lifting extremely heavy loads to great heights, although they offer exceptional flexibility in everyday operations.
